So Valentines Day is coming up. Yes, its an obvious topic for a rant. If all goes as it is now this will be my eighteenth consecutive valentine's day as a single person. I've only ever asked out one girl on valentine's day, of course it was a no. Its funny, they say its around Christmas that most suicides occur, you think it'd be valentine's day, theres a lot of single people out there. It might as be called "Singles-Awareness Day." Seems the only point of the day is force men to buy stupid white bears with hearts that say "I love you this much" and to make us singles that much more aware we are single.
I'm also a little upset because everyone around me is either having sex or in a decent relationship. As of the moment, I have neither. Its not that I want meaningless sex, but it'd be nice to at least know I could if I wanted. My self-esteem should be high right now. I've got a solid group of friends, for the moment (though I constantly worry that they'll drop me.) I've been told I'm good looking by people I know, and apparently A few gals like me. So whats the problem you ask? My mind isn't on females.
